Richard Woods

Born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in 1986. Richard graduated from the University of Gloucester in 2008. His works are a dark tale of contemporary issues, recently focusing on the recession and binge drinking culture.His figures lean towards caricatures and are presented in storylike compositions taking everyday life into a more sinister truth. Scottish artists such as Peter Howsen, Steven Campbell, and Ken Currie have been strong influence.
